I have always preferred to go down the route of Back to Lay allowing the Lay to go in running which is of course a strict no no as far as pre the off trading is concerned. I thought we could perhaps get some discussion going as to the positives and negatives and perhaps exchange some views and ideas on strategies. Follow me on Twitter Light Years Behind. Normally the pre trades are on 1 of the first three in the betting, i dont have a set limit of ticks on the profit side but would cut out if the trade went against me more than 4 ticks if i could But i may Lay at 3.

Often I think I have spotted a move only for it not to happen and I am happy to take a small loss and move onto the next one. I have found that 1 or 2 tick scalping is not really for me as it requires a lot of focus and is very intense. Nors you say that you are happy to take a 4 tick loss well not happy but would accept do you set a stop loss at 4 ticks?
