I used to see them all the time on then at some point they just stopped. I have been on current gen for a while and have never seen an armoured truck on here so where did they go?

What happened was Rockstar made it so Armored Trucks, Smuggler Planes and Lester's Friends wouldn't spawn in sessions with five or more people, to be replaced with the newer events. Unfortunately, they acknowledged that there's a bug that makes these not spawn at all. They plan to fix this when possible.

I've seen none of the freemode events aside from one where Lester asks you to deal with a van. I really miss the Simeon vehicles that used to spawn, those always used to cause chaos online. I'd probably change it up a bit though, make it so that they don't need respraying and pay something representative to how many people are in the lobby, because delivering one was super difficult. I highly doubt it will be fixed because of when the events start in freemode, it would likely take from having 4 events going on in a day to having maybe 2.

Unless the layer it like the VIP jobs They were replaced with freemode events. Some say if you're in a small enough session they'll still spawn but I haven't seen it.

This is true, I've seen one driving around and I was able to get the money too, but no wanted level. I'm not sure which ones you're talking about, but I saw the Army HVY Barracks the other day in the NE part of the map.

Since freemode events have come in on PS4, XBONE, and PC they don't spawn anymore. Yeah, I really liked the armored trucks. I remember when they first put out trailers for GTAO the armored trucks were a big part of the excitement.

Now they are no where to be seen. It would be cool to see something more rewarding than the trucks. Something like receiving a call from Lester about a convoy with multiple trucks carrying cash, art, gold etc. Stop the convoy and steal the goods, keep the cash and give the goods to Lester so he can flip them. Attacking such a high risk convoy will instantly give the players 4 stars. They could always take the PAYDAY 2 route and add 5 different armored truck heists, all with slightly different maps, in a paid DLC.
